About Me

"When I was 11 years old, I discovered rowing when I started coxwaining for my mother's team. At first, I disliked rowing myself because I didn't know how to do it, but my mother insisted I continue another week. Sure enough, I've never stopped since then. I've moved 14 times in my life and changed schools 17 times. Through all the changes, rowing has been the one constant bringing stability to my life. I've grown to become very competitive, and at times, quite stubborn. When I have a goal or idea, I won't stop until I achieve it. I adore the sport, especially for the community and the fulfillment I feel when reflecting on the work I've put towards achieving my goals. I love racing; the pressure of competition is what I thrive on."
